Reviews are funny things, most authors have a love/hate relationship with them. You have to have them, but then—you're also at the mercy of your reviewers. You just have to hope that readers give you a fair chance and in exchange you've transported them to another world for a few entertaining hours. I was particularly nervous about the mash up of genres I was attempting with this book—zombie action, military madness, and a red-hot love story. Well, I'm beginning to breath again—first reviews have been good to excellent so far. Whew!
